Elements and Principles of Design
Before I dove into creating graphics, I had to do a little research on the elements and principles of design. Below are two of my projects I completed practicing recognizing the correct elements and principles being used in posters that I found online.
Color Studies
I also completed numerous color studies to learn about complimentary and split complimentary colors along with using the method that Itten and Albers used to create color combinations that show how colors interact with each other by lowering and increasing the hues.
The Golden Ratio
Below is a bird I created using The Golden Ratio technique and correct tools in Illustrator to combine the shapes needed then cut out the ones that weren't needed.
